Who Knew a Weighted Vest Could Be So Chic?

So I have a question for you? Do you ever wear a weighted vest for walks or workouts? What are your thoughts on them? 
Just a year ago, the thought of wearing one was so unappealing… But here I am, fully embracing my new fashion statement in my 40s! So what’s happened?!
Pre-45, I was the Cardio Queen, ruling the kingdom of long runs and as many gym machines as possible. 
But then life threw me a plot twist – enter perimenopause! Suddenly, my cardio routine felt exhausting, depleting and I knew I had to make changes. So I switched gears! I traded in my long runs for brisk walks, and my heart-pumping cardio sessions for resistance training. It’s been like going from being the star of a high-energy action film to a cozy rom-com, i.e., much more enjoyable with fewer plot twists!
So wearing a weighted vest during your workouts and walks is like giving your body a little pep talk. It helps strengthen those bones and muscles, and it’s a quick win! Just strap it on and voilà – you’ve added resistance without changing your entire routine. You can wear it on the treadmill, during a walk in the park, or even while doing those never-ending household chores – I see you, vacuuming in style.
